The Apple of God’s Eyes Nepal is a project based in Kathmandu since 2000, run jointly by the Brazilian NGO Hope Mobilization and the Nepalese NGO Nepalese Home. Its mission is to rescue Nepalese girls who are victims of human trafficking, particularly for exploitation in neighboring India, where an estimated 12,000 girls are trafficked each year.
The Apple of God’s Eyes Cambodia was founded in 2007 by the Brazilian NGO World Mobilization and the Cambodian NGO Refuge of Joy in Siem Reap. The project focuses on rescuing Khmer girls who are victims of human trafficking and exploitation, with trafficking occurring both within Cambodia and to other Asian countries.
AOGE works to protect children who may be at risk by investing in prevention and community care. Empowering families and local communities with information and resources to help prevent exploitation and promote long-term protection.
